St. Andrew’s mission

St. Andrew’s Mission provides a food ministry that supplements the monthly food and nutritional needs of senior and adults with handicaps.  We purchase the food through the Mississippi Food Bank at a reduced rate, and it is USDA controlled.  Our ministry services all of the eligible clients in the Amite County area, as well as the seniors and disabled adults in Pike County.  We have a partnership with MICA, and they service the other populations that we do not cover.

 

 

Our food pantry ministry currently serves over 1,000 clients throughout Pike and Amite counties.

 

Over 90% of the food we provide through this ministry is purchased using St. Andrew’s Mission funds from our general operating budget, and this food is purchased from the Mississippi Food Bank.
